My entire life I’ve been a very creative person. I love writing, fashion, and travel and want to live life passionately. Nothing scares me more than a mundane life that revolves around a routine of things that I hate doing. While in college, I was always searching for that one career that I was super passionate about, and actually didn’t come across one that directly related to my major. My last year of college was when I became obsessed with Instagram, and watching companies like Revolve grow primarily through social media was extremely inspiring. After realizing I could combine my passion for social media with helping businesses reach their goals, I knew I was onto something and began to pursue this path.
Besides my social media career, I write for this blog that you’re reading, run my Instagram and everything that relates to my personal brand. My inspiration for my personal brand comes from many places. For one, the idea of living life exactly the way I want is a huge motivator. To be able to do all of the things I love: write, travel, communicate with my audience, create, design, etc. all the way I want to is what drives me to work as hard as I do.
Side note: between my full-time job and my blog I work about 60-70 hours a week, and have zero complaints. I love everything I do, which wasn’t the case just a year ago. I used to work retail and couldn’t wait for a day off to be able to escape from work and generally dreaded the job. So to be able to love what I do currently gives me so much gratitude, which gives me the ability to work as much as I do.
The supportive community of hardworking bloggers is another thing that really inspires me. To see so many hardworking women build brands while supporting each other in the process is extremely encouraging. The truth is, this blogging thing isn’t easy, and seeing other women working hard towards their dreams is inspiring.
Most importantly, you all inspire me. When I first started out, I honestly didn’t think anyone would read my blog. When I got my first comment I was ecstatic, and when I got my first 100 subscribers, I was knew I was onto something. To be able to share and connect with you means more to me than you know. I’ve met many of my readers and you are all sweet and motivated people with amazing sense of fashion, and I wouldn’t ask for a better audience.
